Here is to be found the well-known Kentavros Horse Ranch where the animals are indigenous to the region and capable of traversing long distances through steep paths and mountain lanes. Our well-known local breed is based on the ancient Thessalien horses, crossed  with Arabic through breds. The result is steadiness, moderation, sure-instep and easy temperament. A speciality of our horses is the "Aravani", a quicker walk for comfortable riding. Whatever the horse, however, they all are friendly, gentle and trained to be responsive.With Argalasti as the center for riding excursions, there are organized rides from little as two hours to as much as trips lasting 10 days. Overnight accommodations are in modern, comfortable facilities featuring double and triple beds.

There are also sleeping bag arrangements along the beaches, in the woods and even at our farm.  On longer tours, a Jeep follows the riders in case of need. Riders choose their routes according to ability and equestrian skills.
